This is the latest preview of this Summer’s most anticipated movie, The Dark Knight. This one gives more of an overall plot for the movie. This second installment of the Batman’s prequel series continues in this newly darkened Gotham with Christian Bale returning as Batman. I am a fan of Bale’s whom embodies a much more realistic and tormented  Bruce Wayne/Batman that stays truer to the character. 

The film reunites Bale with director Christopher Nolan and takes Batman across the world in his quest to fight a growing criminal threat. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), Batman has been making headway against local crime…until a rising criminal mastermind known as The Joker (Heath Ledger) unleashes a fresh reign of chaos across Gotham City. To stop this devious new menace–Batman’s most personal and vicious enemy yet–he will have to use every high-tech weapon in his arsenal and confront everything he believes.

I was deeply saddened by the untimely death of Heath Ledger, who’s died in January, who’s Joker looks and sounds to be the most psychotically played by any actor who depicted the green and purple-loving monster.  

This looks like it’s definitely going to be a record-breaker this August.
