Shoe Designer, Pierre Hardy will debut his collaboration with Gap, this fall.  The mini-collection will include only a black leather combat boot and a taupe desert boot. The collection will be minimal in design as well prices with the Combat boot priced at $298 and desert boot and $178, available September 15th at select Gap stores.

Named after a compulsory Japanese term for “yes-yes”,  Sou Sou was born, producing a new version of a century old Japanese shoe. The Tabi-shoes resemble sneakers cleaved at the toe, while others are more like socks with a pad of rubber on the bottom. They are hand-crafted at the company’s atelier by a group of artisans that makes sure there aren’t any imperfections keeping the integrity that goes into the traditional  techniques. What would you rock with these?  You could figure it out after you get a pair, though your big toe may suffer from separation anxiety.

Philadelphia native, Jazmine Sullivan, has been around for a minute but, just reaching the surface with her first single from her major record label debut off of J Records. Jazmine is a singer/songwriter with chops that goes back to her early adolescence. Her rich, well-rounded vocal abilities are not comparable right now in R&B and the 21 year-old sounds ready to sing.

She has penned and co-produced songs for other artists, Christina Milian( Say I), Fantasia(Free Yourself) and will be appearing on Missy’s new joint.  Look out for Jazmine’s full-length album, later this year with production from Missy Elliot, Salaam Remi and Stargate, among others. Take heed and get on the train now. It doesn’t pay to be late.

In attendance at mostly all of Pairs’ Fashion Week shows, Kanye West decided to give us a sneak peek at what his highly-anticipated clothing line, Pastelle will be hitting for. Apparently he donned many of his pieces through-out the week, gracing around a dozen shows.  

At the Dior Homme show, West made his own show with in the Homme show, showing off the features of his hoodie to the media.  I am really excited to see and wear some of Kanye’s pieces.  It won’t be too long before he is taking a bow at the end of his own show.

With plans to open 31 retail stores throughout the next year, as a part of extending their menswear line to a greater platform for U.S. consumers, Ferragamo has opened its first menswear only store in L.A.’s Beverly Center.   The 2,000-square-foot store, which debuted late last month, is one of several luxury-goods boutiques that have opened in the shopping mall in the past year, including Gucci and Christian Dior.
